RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment online 2025: Notification for 6500 Vacancies
RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment online 2025 has been announced to fill 6,500 Senior Teacher (Grade-II) posts in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will conduct this recruitment based on a written examination. The official notification (Advt. No. 07/2025-26) was released on 17 July 2025. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet both educational and age requirements as per the official notification:
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject(s) (as an optional or main subject) from a UGC-recognized university. For example, language teachers must have graduation in that language; Science teachers need a B.Sc with at least two science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, etc.); Social Science teachers need a B.A. with two social science subjects (History, Geography, etc.).
Plus a B.Ed or equivalent teacher training degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Language/Culture: Working knowledge of Hindi (Devnagari script) and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on the reference date): Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
Age Relaxation: As per Rajasthan government norms, age is relaxed for reserved candidates – e.g. 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (Rajasthan) and for general-category women, 10 years for women in reserved categories, etc.. (Visually impaired or disabled candidates get 10–15 years relaxation as applicable.)
